Whole Wheat (Graham) Muffins

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup enriched flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1 cup milk
Mix together with fork. Then stir just until ingredients are blended. Fill reased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake until golden brown.
