Apricot Sherbet

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 2/3 cups milk
1 15 oz. can apricots, drained and crushed .
Mix together well.
Freeze
Whip 1 cup evaporated milk.
Beat frozen mixture and pour together. Beat again and refreeze. I haven't made this in years. It is yummy. I see no reason you could not use peaches if you don't like apricots.
